Starting from its earliest days, "CONFIND" proposed to itself as a key goal to bring into the Romanian industrial environment the most recent trends
of the uniquely and complex universe of the production of machinery, installations and parts meant to satisfy the requirements of a modern economy.
The professionalism of the company's specialists, the wide range of products comparable to that of the competitors in terms of prices and tariffs, but superior in
terms of quality, with right-on-time delivery terms, in addition to the low-price policy, have propelled CONFIND high up in this line of business, both at home and
abroad.
Thanks to a business strategy based on continuous quality enhancements, yet without neglecting the design and useful value of the products, CONFIND
boasts high esteem earned in international fairs and exhibitions held in Germany, Turkey and Greece, where the company's products were exhibited near those of
larger companies.

May 31,1991 : CONFIND was incorporated as a 100% private limited liability company. Ever since its earliest days up to the present time, the share
capital was increased four times. Business started with a production of connecting bolts and nuts for flanges and needle valves, manufactured with a few
reconditioned machine tools in a leased workshop.
1992-1993 : The first stage of development involved the production of spare parts devoted to down hole pumps for crude oil extraction.
1993-1994 : Into the second stage of development, the production of gas compressor spare parts required that the machine tools and the internal
metrology activity be upgraded by purchasing modern technology. In addition, the heat-treatment workshop was commissioned and properly outfitted for hardening,
tempering, normalizing, cementing short and full annealing processes.
1995 : CONFIND's business diversified and focused on three new targets:
- Design, homologation and production of three new products: The "MICROSTA12" mobile mini-gas-station, The BE-02 small-capacity backhoe, Natural gas heater
- Primary wood processing.
- Production of carpentry, windows and doors, by aluminum sections and panels.
1997 : beginning of the production of crew accommodation containers usable in building sites or oil fields and metallic structures for industrial
shops.
1998 : CONFIND purchased the Rubber Parts Plant from PCC Sterom and continued the production of rubber items.
1999 : CONFIND founded the CONFIND IMPEX Ltd. Company, on the premises of the shops acquired in Floresti-Prahova, which had belonged to SC
Petroutilaj SA and where it developed the following production lines : Fishing tools for crude oil extraction; Pressure vessels, tanks and steel structures for the
building industry; Forge; Heat-treatments.
Also, CONFIND started the production of gearboxes and spare parts for manual valve actuation, these products being entirely devoted to the foreign market.
In 2000, 2001 and 2002
CONFIND continued to diversify and develop its production, by building and endowing its own workshop intended for the manufacture of tools, devices and controllers,
as well as a mechanic processes workshop endowed with modern machine tools with numeric control.
The company increased its activity field by assimilating and manufacturing a wide range of products, as for instance : Manual gear boxes; Pumping units with PCP
excentric boit pumps; Gas compressors type GEC160; Tyre Winch type AM 10 Multifunctional Aggregate; "Slug-catcher" liquid peg collecting device;
"Flare stack" equipment; "Stabilizer tower and reboiler" intended for UKPG Kazakhstan.
Technologies

1. Turning and boring on horizontal and vertical lathes;
2. Milling and planning on standard and specialized milling and boring machines;
3. External, internal cylindrical and surface grinding;
4. Boring on multi drilling machines, jig boring machines;
- Heat and thermo-chemical treatments: hardening, tempering, normalizing, cementing short and full annealing processes;
- Steel framed constructions and pressure vessels under ISCIR and MLPAT authorization;
- Hammer forging and drop forging;
- Rubber parts manufacturing;
- Stamping, cutting, sand blasting, painting, assembling and quality control.
- CNC conversion with plasma and gases
- Automatic under flow welding.
- 2mm/6000 Sheet metal bending with the CNC machine.
The continuous effort to expand production shops and the related machine tools and equipment has had a significant influence on the growth of the capital goods value
with an yearly average rate of 78,3%.
Quality Assurance
High quality is the leading policy of the company's management. CONFIND Ltd quality system is configured in accordance with the ISO 9001/2000 standard and
certified AEROQ 463/2002.
At present, CONFIND holds and operates a range of technological facilities touching a wide range of processing issues.
